Spanish Tuition in Liverpool with a Native Speaker
My name is Yolanda and I’m from a town called Terrassa which is not far from Barcelona. I teach Spanish as a foreign language and I’ve been doing this for the last ten years. I now live in Liverpool and I have been here since 2008. I have also lived in Manchester and Bristol. I began teaching shortly after leaving university. I had studied languages at university and I had also done a course to be able to teach Spanish to speakers of other languages. When I first came to this country I briefly worked at a company dealing with their Spanish customers on the phone. I also began looking for work at language schools and I found a job at a Manchester where I was living at the time. I worked there for two years and then moved to Bristol as my partner had been transferred there. I stayed in Bristol until 2008 and I worked part-time at a college, teaching groups of students in the evenings. I also taught private students during my free time. Since coming to Liverpool I have only taught privately as I prefer it. The students always seem more motivated and I prefer teaching students on a one-to-one basis as it is easier for them to improve. I do my own advertising and I’m also registered with a company called Spanish Tutor Liverpool which helps me to find students.
