Just like one in every one hundred fifty children, Joseph suffers from autism, a developmental condition that affects his ability to communicate and socialize. Joseph will probably never be able to work, support himself, or have a normal life. He will always need to rely on others for his care and well being. Despite his disability he remains a happy child, free of all fears and stress that life can bring. Constantly smiling, he spends his days being satisfied with the simplest things while making others around him smile themselves.
