How to Get a Fresh Start

My neighbor has been going through some bad times. He lost his job a few months ago. Although he is collecting unemployment, that barely pays for his monthly expenses. I know that he is behind on his house payments and other bills. He tells me that the creditors are calling him everyday to collect. He is so deep in debt that he is thinking of filing for ca bankruptcy. He needs help in consolidating his debt and stopping those phone calls from creditors. The last thing he wants is foreclosure on his house. So, he is hoping that there is some way to lower his monthly payments. He has been living next door to me for as long as I can remember. I sure hope his house does not foreclose because I would hate losing a good neighbor. For now, I hope he is able to find help from bankruptcy specialists who can give him guidance.
