This musical initiative touches one's heart, and thus the appeal to step up and assist in promoting the public's awareness of autism takes one giant leap forward. As a former mayor of my community, you look for those causes that enable others to support and give back in some meaningful way. This music lays the foundation for community involvement in helping to battle autism. David Jones Mon, 02 Mar 2009 09:26:43 I didn't realize how ignorant I was about autism until God blessed me with the opportunity to coach a 6th grade boy in Upwards Basketball this year. I still don't know much, but I do know this... There are some songs that are produced and distributed because they should be. (They'll be popular, make money, whatever.) This song should be produced and distributed because it NEEDS to be. It's an important message, and the need for awareness alone should compel this song to reach as many people as possible. You can't contribute to the cause without being made aware that the cause is there. Best of luck, Dan. I hope God blesses your effort with the results it deserves... Jeff N Mon, 02 Mar 2009 19:06:29 Dan your song about Joseph and getting the message out about autism is a brilliant idea. You really did a great job not only with the lyrics but the style of music you play. Its a unique style with the added sound of an accordian which makes all the more enjoyable. Joseph is really a gifted child in his own way and with your song about Joseph and others out there some day a cure will be found for autism. My wife and I can't wait to hear you play live with the rest of Western Avenue. God know's you have our support in your album. Please keep us posted on any upcoming events you may have scheduled, or a release date of your album. God Bless you and your family from Jeff and Jocelyn.. Naureen Loftus Thu, 05 Mar 2009 05:35:46 I heard your song for Joseph tonight and thought about how we are overdue for a message about the beauty of autism. How blessed we are to be in the presence of autistic people who live inside their creativity. They never have to come out and visit with worry, anxiety, despair, etc. Your song is uplifting and positive. Music is Gods language. Nobody owns it., and it's meant to be shared.
